I had been meaning to go to The Bank Bar and Restaurant for a while and once I had agreed to organise my work colleagues hen night, I decided that the venue would be The Bank in Bexleyheath.  I was not disappointed, the décor was lovely, even the little added extras, like the cushions, lovely soap, hand cream and hand towels in the bathroom (felt like I was at a Spa weekend).  The food, well what can I say, was absolutely delicious, from the starter of Calamari, to the main Wild Boar Sausages (yummy), gorgeous mash potato and great roasted vegetables, then onto the sweet which was the Bank Trio, gosh it was so scrummy, especially the ice cream in the birds nest – to die for, diets out the window!  It was a Friday, so the pianist was playing and played/sang some great music.  Onto the staff, so lovely, polite, helpful, made you feel special, I could praise them forever as they were just brilliant.  I would definitely recommend The Bank and look forward to returning.

Myself and two of my work colleagues were staying at the Marriot hotel in Bexleyheath and didn’t fancy going to the hotel restaurant for a second night in a row so I ‘googled’ the local restaurants and found The Bank, The pictures on the website looked great so we decided to try it out before heading back up to Scotland. I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the Staff. Next time I’m back down south I will be sure to go back again!

I visited the bank after seeing an advert in the Newshopper, Me and two of my friends popped in for a quick lunch whilst shopping in Bexleyheath. We all had the express lunch, I had the chicken gratin and my friends had the spicy beef samosa, the express menu also includes a drink within the price of £6.95 so we thought we’d treat ourselves to a cheeky glass of wine at lunch! The food was great, it came out really quickly which is handy when your hitting the shops and was really nice to have something healthy to eat at lunchtime and have the luxury of sitting down in a relaxing restaurant atmosphere. If I worked close by I think I would be in there every day! I saw the other menus that they do in the evenings so am going to take my other half to treat him to a nice evening soon!

For my friend’s birthday I organized a surprise night out for all the girls and hired the vault at the Bank as I thought it would give that something extra to the evening and knew my friends would all love it, I wasn’t wrong! We had a really good night. The staff were all so friendly and kept the drinks rolling in! We had the A la carte menu and everyone loved the food, it’s great to have such a nice restaurant in somewhere like Bexleyheath! Local but with that little bit extra for special occasions!
